It's the little things...
 
Stopped at a local restaurant with my little ones today. At the top of the "penny bin" at the register, on top of all the pennies, sat a circulated, but still shiny 1943 D nickle! :applause_

I traded it for one in my pocket. The chickie at the register thought I was goofy. She may be right, but it made my day. I'm easily amused! :s9:

Looks like you've got 'urself a bonifide 'WAR NICKEL'. 56% copper, 35% silver & 9% manganese.

Congratulations! I found one of those myself a few years back in my pocket change.
